A Greeting from Bridge Pastor Jeff Jackson

Three years ago, Reverend Jeff Jackson thought he was leaving congregational ministry, but God had other plans. After working with the Veterinary Practice that purchased his father’s clinic and becoming a member of the Federated Church UCC in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Reverend Jackson discerned a call to vocationally reengage with the church. In April, he attended Interim Ministry Training and has been working with congregations whose pastors have needed medical sabbaticals, left their congregations abruptly, or simply had a need for a Sunday morning preacher.

Jeff was Ordained into ministry after graduation from Hiram College and Lexington Theological Seminary and has served congregations in Kettering (OH), Rocky Mount (NC), Boardman (OH) and Mantua (OH). Reverend Jackson was the Pastor of the Hilltop Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Mantua for 16 years. During that time, he was active in the leadership of a number of ecumenical, civic and community organizations and events.  He also coached numerous sports teams – mostly baseball - and enjoys photographing games.
Jeff and his wife Audrey live in Hiram Township. They have three children: Aaron, an Athletic Trainer for a school district near Olean (NY), Kristen, the Community Engagement Director for Jewish Family Services of Dallas (TX), and Clay who is a Senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Ohio Northern University.
